1. Who we are
STEZ Technology Company ("STEZ", "we", "us", "our") is a technology studio based in Kampala, Uganda. This policy explains how we handle personal information across our marketing website and our products, including STEZ Will Vault and STEZ Landlord Vault.
2. Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address and phone number when you contact us or create an account.
- Content you save in our products, for example the will drafts, tenant records, next of kin details, national ID scans and payment history you enter.
- Device information such as browser type, IP address and pages visited, collected through standard server logs.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to operate our products, generate the documents you request (such as PDF wills and tenancy records), respond to your enquiries, keep the services secure, and improve our features. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Storage and security
Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted through row-level security rules so that records saved from your device or account are only readable by you and, where applicable, by the STEZ administrators required to maintain the service.
5. Sharing your information
We share personal information only with (a) trusted service providers that host our infrastructure or send transactional messages on our behalf, (b) authorities where we are required to do so by law, and (c) parties you explicitly ask us to share with (for example, an LC1 chairperson or the Uganda Police when you request a Runaway or Deceased report).
6. Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send requests to steztechnologies@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 18. Do not use STEZ products to submit information about children without a lawful basis and the necessary consent from a parent or guardian.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
